AERATION GUARD™

AERATION GUARD™

What is aeration:

Water flowing into the sump pit creates air bubbles. When your pump activates, air bubbles are sucked into the pump causing the pump to “air lock” and cease pumping water out of the pit. All pumps can air lock.

Aeration Guard:

The Aeration Guard acts as a water flow “Guard” – when placed correctly the Aeration Guard will minimize the potential for pump air locking. The center line (longer slit) on Guard should be facing away from incoming flow of water.
